Difference between 'cream' and 'white' editions.
Mouritz is proud to introduce handy paperback editions of Alexanders books. Two titles have been published so far.
The white paperback books contain the essential texts: they are almost identical to the last editions Alexander were responsible for in 194546: the complete text of the books with the forewords and introductions published at the time (for example containing Dewey or Coghill introductions, and Alexanders forewords and Alexanders new forewords.)
The difference between the cream and white editions of Alexanders books is that the white paperbacks do not contain:
Walter Carringtons and editors forewords; notes on the text; endnotes; appendices or any photographs added since 194546 editions; index.
Note that the hardback edition of Articles and Lectures is out of print.
