Haahr, Jorgen (Jørgen)
Although subtitled “Play Better Golf the Alexander Technique Way” the booklet does not introduce the principles of the Technique or incorporate it into the golf exercises or various aspects of golf play. The topics include stance, grip, swing, rebuilding the swing, “the Alexander Technique golf swing”, putting, handicap, course management and popular misunderstandings about the hit, the swing, the slice and the use of heavy clubs. Many photographs illustrate the many facets of the swing. Neil Holman is a PGA professional golfer.

Hehr, Dr. G. S.
Edward Maisel’s criticism of Tinbergen’s Nobel Prize Acceptance Speech on the Technique in 1973 led to a correspondence between the two in both New Scientist and Science. Tinbergen’s speech and the ensuing correspondence and other documents are reproduced with Dr Hehr’s commentary. Dr Hehr examines Maisel’s critique and questions why Maisel attacked Tinbergen’s advocacy of the Technique when Maisel himself was a supporter. The implicit question of whether Maisel had an ulterior motive goes unanswered. Includes an “erata” [sic] with 49 corrections.

Hodgkinson, Liz
Another introductory book to the Technique by a journalist who has written many books on popular subjects. The author had three lessons in the Technique (by E. Atkinson who feels misrepresented in the book). Apart from some misunderstandings, misquotations and its emphasis on the curative aspects, it gives a fair description of the Technique.
