Kettrick, Catherine
This study guide contains in total 1,334 study questions and 132 “thought questions”. The former are taken directly from each chapter of Alexander’s books (Centerline Press editions) and are “primarily intended to be written and answered by copying, word for word and comma for comma what Alexander wrote.” The latter “will often refer to research that has been done in the fields of cognitive science, linguistics and psychology since Alexander wrote...” and are “intended to stimulate people’s thinking on various topics,...”. The introduction contains an explanation of how to take Alexander’s long sentences apart in order to understand them better. It is not clear how this method of studying is going to help you "to meet a stimulus that puts you wrong..." etc.
